The CD series comprises twin compression transducers engineered with dual normal beam compression wave contact configurations for precise thickness inspection and flaw detection. Built with semi-circular and rectangular lead zirconate titanate crystals, these versatile probes deliver reliable signal resolution across specialised industrial applications.
Dual Normal Beam Design: Configured with separate transmitter and receiver elements to enhance near-surface resolution.
Lead Zirconate Titanate Crystals: Employs precision semi-circular and rectangular crystal elements.
Medium Dampening: Optimised with medium dampening to maintain a balanced medium bandwidth.
Temperature Versatility: Standard models support up to 50°C (120°F), while high-temperature variants (denoted by “HT”) support continuous operation up to 400°C (752°F).
Specialised Focus Options: Short focus shoe configurations are available, denoted by “F” in the product title.
