The Thermo Scientific™ Niton™ XL2 Analyzer brings fast, accurate alloy verification and elemental analysis to any environment. Designed for manufacturing quality control, scrap metal sorting, mining exploration, and lead screening, it delivers precise, nondestructive testing of metals from titanium to nickel, along with tramp and trace element detection. Its built-in camera ensures accurate targeting of the analysis area, while the rugged, lightweight design stands strong against dust, moisture, and industrial wear.
Engineered for real-world simplicity, the XL2 features intuitive point-and-shoot operation, daylight-readable touchscreen icons, and ergonomic handling—accessible even to nontechnical users. With rapid results, a measurement range covering up to 30 elements (from sulfur to uranium), sealed construction, touchscreen interface, and camera-assisted alignment, the Niton XL2 offers trusted performance without compromise, no matter your testing application.
Standard Thermo Scientific™ Niton Data Transfer (NDT™) PC software suite allows you to set operator permissions, generate custom reports, print certificates of analysis, or remotely monitor, and operate the instrument hands-free from your PC.
Integrated USB and Bluetooth™ communications provide direct data transfer to your PC or networked storage device. Optional accessories include Bluetooth barcode reader, Bluetooth printer, and Bluetooth GPS.
