Internal Sales Trainee
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Executive, the successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of Internal Sales admin and customer support within the NDT industry. In addition to Office-based duties, the candidate will be required to drive the Sales Executive to customer visits. The role requires a candidate who is presentable, reliable, and motivated to grow within the sales function of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and perform internal sales administration duties under the guidance of the Sales Executive and sales team.
- Process sales orders, quotations, and customer correspondence accurately and timeously.
- Assist with filing, record-keeping, and maintaining up-to-date customer information on company systems.
- Support the sales team with follow-up calls and written communication to customers under supervision.
- Liaise with internal departments to facilitate smooth order processing.
- Accompany the Sales Executive on customer visits and business travel as required (this will include driving the Sales Executive to and from engagements).
- Assist with the transport and handling of product samples, demonstration equipment, or documentation during customer visits.
- Maintain accurate trip logs and mileage records in line with company policy.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and roadworthy at all times; report any maintenance or defects promptly to the responsible manager.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company vehicle policies, and the GammaTec Code of Conduct at all times.
- Focus on developing product knowledge to better support customer engagements and internal sales queries.
- Aim to build relationships with customers over time, supporting the Sales Executive's longer-term business development objectives.
- Ensure all company assets, documentation, and customer information are handled with confidentiality and integrity.
- Actively assist the sales team with any administrative tasks as and when required.

- Must reside in the Hartbeespoort / NECSA area.
- Computer literate: proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - essential.
- Experience in a sales support or administrative role - advantageous.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as and when necessary.
- Own reliable transport - advantageous.
Quality Control Inspector - Trainee
Overall Purpose / Objective of the Job
Under the general direction of the QC Supervisor, performing quality control functions in conjunction with assisting in the implementation of Safety, Health and Environmental Systems and procedures. Position objective is to assist in the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Management System within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality control checking of in-coming goods new.
- Actively assist immediate supervisor and manager in writing and implementing work instructions in line with QMS.
- Quality control of incoming/inter-process and dispatch of Radioactive containers.
- Quality control checking of equipment repaired / serviced / calibrated in the Mechanical and Electronic workshops.
- Issuing certificates of calibration and conformance new / repair product.
- Filing and administration of Quality Management records.
- Dangerous goods packing.
- Assist to Perform weekly stock takes in Radiation store.
- Generating non-conformance and / or corrective / preventative action reports.
- Dimensional quality control checking of incoming goods new.
- Perform Quality control on production parts/sub-assembly/completed product.
- Manage engraving/powder coating functions of raw items/semi-completed received.
- Perform Quality control of Link-type and disposable type source assembly.
- Perform SAP receipt of goods, transfer of goods to Stores/dispatch, external manufacturing to 3rd parties and failed items to QC quarantine.
- Ensure that pre-packing is done as per stores requirement.
- Perform receipt of goods.
- Monthly review of quarantine/failed items to be scrapped.
Qualifications and Experience

- Grade 12
- Appropriate QC Certification / Quality Control / Internal Auditing and work experience - advantageous
- ISO 9001 Implementation / Awareness / Auditing
- TQMS Diploma - advantageous

Minimum Experience Required
- 2 Years' Experience in a similar environment.
- Experience in the use of various inspection, measuring and testing equipment, e.g. verniers, micrometres, height gauge, Go-No-Go gauges, thread gauges, depth gauges, etc.
Buying Administrator
Overall Purpose / Objective of the Job
Under general direction of the Buying Manager responsible for sourcing and buying stock/assets for the company and its clients. To take ownership in the running of the day to day buying operations, ensuring that company stock is maintained and that goods requiring collection/delivery from suppliers and related parties are given through to stores on a daily basis and the correct paperwork has been processed before, during and after the purchase of the goods. To actively assist in ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures and work instructions and legal obligations and assisting the company in meeting its BBBEE objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Operations:
- Prepare and process purchase orders based on approved purchase quotations and departmental requisitions.
- Monitor and follow up on purchase orders, confirming supplier delivery dates and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Arrange daily collections or deliveries to stores and coordinate with logistics where necessary.
- Ensure all procurement documentation is accurate before goods receipt and submission to the Accounts Department.
Supplier Management:
- Source materials and services from suppliers and negotiate pricing, quality, delivery, and payment terms.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Requests for Tenders (RFTs).
- Analyse supplier quotations and make procurement recommendations.
- Maintain and improve supplier relationships and ensure BBBEE compliance where applicable.
- Conduct supplier audits and compile supplier performance reports with improvement recommendations.
- Identify and maintain relationships with buying houses and new vendors.
Procurement Administration & Inventory:
- Provide administrative procurement support to projects and operational departments.
- Administer and maintain supplier agreements and contracts.
- Set up or onboard new vendors in the procurement system and maintain procurement records.
- Maintain and update material standards, including exchange rates and raw material trends.
- Provide sample components for development and quality approval when required.
- Coordinate with the Stores Department to monitor inventory levels and prevent shortages.
- Ensure logistics arrangements support operational requirements and project timelines.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to company safety regulations, procurement policies, and legal guidelines.
- Maintain proper documentation of all procurement transactions.
- Compile and submit weekly and monthly procurement reports.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and record management practices.

Sales Representative - Exports
The Role
The company seeks to place a results-driven sales representative to drive and expand sales in our Exports division. Furthermore, to provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer (existing and new) in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
