CPSERIES generators feature a shutter, a laser pointer, a beryllium window, an aluminum filter, and two integrated diaphragms (customized sizes are available upon request). A directional unit emits X-rays in a cone-shaped beam (up to a 40-60 degree angle), making it ideal for localized radiography on one side of a component, as opposed to a panoramic unit.
Portability means the entire unit (tube head, controller, and cooler) is lightweight enough for easy transport and setup in the field for on-site inspections.
Typical uses include radiography of welds, castings, small components, and general material inspection.
