Teledyne ICM’s CPSERIES has been designed with a view to revolutionizing the handling and performances of portable X-Ray sets. Despite having managed to halve the weight of similar portable X-Ray generators available on the market (while continuing to provide the same power output) Supplier: Teledyne ICM
CPSERIES generators feature a shutter, a laser pointer, a beryllium window, an aluminum filter, and two integrated diaphragms (customized sizes are available upon request). Without compromising the robustness and reliability for which ICM products are renowned, the small size and lightweight of the CPSERIES will radically change the way that you perform your RT inspections. And you will see a positive impact in terms of both quality and return on investment (ROI).
They may be lightweight, just 12 kg for the CP200D and 23 kg for the CP300D, but don’t be fooled. These compact units deliver serious power, capable of penetrating 42 mm (CP200D) and 66 mm (CP300D) of steel in under ten minutes. Their advanced air-cooling system, working in harmony with the CP output, achieves a true 100% duty cycle at 30°, keeping performance steady and uninterrupted.
A wide input range of 90 to 264 VAC allows the CPSERIES to operate seamlessly on nearly any power grid worldwide, as well as on generator setups. And with its low energy consumption, every inspection becomes not only more efficient, but also more economical and environmentally responsible.
Provides high power and reliability for industrial imaging radiography and is also used in critical areas like NDT Environments (New builds and in-service RT Inspections). Available in various output voltage configurations.
| Radiation Geometry | 60 x 40 elliptical ( For CP160D up to CP300DM ) and 60 x 30 elliptical ( CP300DS) |
| Output Voltage Range | Varies widely (typically 10-225kV and 30-300kv) |
| Output Voltage Type | Constant Potential (DC Output) |
| Duty Cycle | Typically 100% |
| Cooling | Air Cooled with 3 stage fan system |
| Control | Digital Control box |
Mobile X-ray Generator, Weld Radiography Source, Directional X-ray Tube, X-ray Generator, X-ray unit
A directional unit emits X-rays in a cone-shaped beam (up to a 40-60 degree angle), making it ideal for localized radiography on one side of a component, as opposed to a panoramic unit.
Portability means the entire unit (tube head, controller, and cooler) is lightweight enough for easy transport and setup in the field for on-site inspections.
Typical uses include radiography of welds, castings, small components, and general material inspection.
