It eliminates the need to remove coatings (like paint) for accurate measurement, saving significant time and reducing surface damage during corrosion inspection.
The “+” usually indicates that the gauge is also capable of Single-Echo (SE) and Echo-Echo (EE) modes in addition to the standard ME mode, providing versatility.
